Where My Story Meets Eden
As I've gone through different chapters in my life I've always come back to prayer to guide me from the birth of my children, the blessings in my career or the passing of my husband. Once life settled down I've always had this idea of creating a place where women can come and create a true sisterhood able to uplift each other from whatever life has to throw at us through Christ. With this I knew I wanted to incorporate practices I use daily in my life already. The weekly devotional aspect is something I wanted to share with all of you while also not being so overwhelming as something daily. Devotional is such a huge part in my daily life and I really love how much it helps me to be my very best. Not only is it a reminder to live with such purpose and intention but it's a great way to help you through the hardest of times when your mind is busy plotting against you! With even more resources on the way as Eden's Glow gets larger, such as mentorship programs, prayer requests and the occasional meet up for a cause in a community near you. The name Eden is of Hebrew origin meaning "delight," "pleasure," or "paradise," directly referencing the Biblical Garden of Eden as a place of perfection and natural beauty, making it a gender-neutral name symbolizing innocence, purity, and divine connection. The patent,” Eden” is a sacred place where we meet God and in turn secure divine alignment in His purpose and will for our lives. It is through “ Eden” all life was created and it is through “ Eden” all who seeks alignment will gain redemption. Where Adams and Eve failed to solidify God's purpose for mankind; it is through Christ purposeful living and eternal life has been reclaimed.
Throughout history regardless of your reference, the profound impact of feminine influence has shaped cultural norms even from the beginning of time; her influence rather good or bad has built and or destroyed kingdoms, her intellect, charm, wit, ability to calm the minds of kings (leaders) and redirect their judgement, to becoming the main voice of reasoning through supplication and prayer (Ester) who saved complete annihilation of a nation of people ( if I perish, I perish, Esther 4:16), her undeniable and yet fierce foundation in FAITH claimed victory over her enemies.

About Me
Priscilla R. Carter
I am the fifteenth child of eighteen siblings with a signature brand as a PK ( Preacher’s Kid), if you know, you know! There are no other kids in comparison who grew up in southern holiness ministries where your entire week consisted of at least three late night church services a week and all day Sunday and I literally mean all day..

Dad ensured his beautiful daughters stayed within his view at all times. As a four year old little girl whose legs dangled from a wooden bench watching my father preach his sermons from the pulpit. Little did I know the words that echoed through the halls of the store front building will only begin to prepare me for my purpose one day to carry on his legacy. Never would I have thought from sitting on those benches to today I'd still be using prayer in my daily life and even more so now as a mother, sister, a friend, a widow and health care professional.

Typically, most would prefer their father to leave an inheritance of wealth, such as monetary and collateral goods, however, I remember vividly his words, “daughter, I may not leave you with abundance in homes, riches, cars or even education but what I will leave with you is a solid foundation in FAITH, a legacy of the gospel that will equip and guide you through ALL of life's challenges”;. At the time I did not understand the significance of his words and that he spoke life into me even in that very moment. Now knowing that what lies ahead will require full ammunition (spiritual warfare) beyond what natural eyes could see. For the scripture says for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities (spiritual hindrances), rulers of darkness ( Ephesians 6:12, KJV) who are responsible for consistent hindrances of God's purpose for our lives. The gospel is a light that gives clear guidance with each life experience we may face and it begins with consistent presence and devotion with the Lord. This is key to identify one’s true purpose and fulfillment.
From this I learned that my purpose doesn't stop here, I am excited to bring EDEN'S GLOW to light and share it with all of you. A place to feel seen, heard, and supported by women going through whatever life has challenged us with, to grow and become our true unapologetic selves. More than anything, I appreciate your support and sisterhood!
